Little Black Book...

The woes of dating had me thinking a hault was necessary.. especially with the many bozos I've encountered :) But I've kept up with it, "can't assume every guy is the same" and like Jenn-Jenn said, "gotta kiss a few frogs to find my prince". Not that finding my Soulmate is top notch on my to-do list I just haven't dismissed it completely :) Nonetheless, I've met a couple of awesome beaus.. one I'm keeping a guard up on because I think there might be some sparkle left with his old time gal. That circumstance I'm all too familiar with myself. :) But he is super awesome.. every time we hang out it's fun and laughter, compliments galore but not the annoying over done type :) So we'll just wait and see what happens here, no expectations just fun and friendship... (FYI can't wait to see CrazyStupidLove July 29th.. Jenn, let's plan a ladies movie night :)) Guy #2, he's funny, fun and less of party animal which I definitely need in my life, down for adventure that doesn't include bar hopping!! Which is more of what I'm leaning to.. but I am a magnet for unavailable men.. So as guy #1 may still have a strong connection with his old girl, Guy#2 couldn't be more unavailable for me.. but he still makes time and adores my company and I his so I'm living in the moment....
As for my move, it will be just a temporary vacation.. Arizona is so HOTTT!! lol.. I love summer but not a fan of Hell Fire!! lol So a temporary vacation with great company, my family, is necessary and I can clear my head a bit and not focus so much on anything but me!! :) My spirit is a million times sweeter and I'm looking forward to a better me!!

Perhaps luck exists somewhere between the world of planning, the world of chance, and from the peace that comes from knowing, that you just can't know it all. life's funny that way once you let go of the wheel, you might end up right where you belong"

The Wedding Planner...

So it's been quite a bit since I've posted anything, and anything positive for that matter has been difficult to think of, so I figured waiting till greatness came to mind or happened would make it all the better :)
A couple of weeks ago was Wedding #2 and what a success it was :) My longtime friend married his longtime girl and they make the perfect pair!!! :) I grew up with Georgie, his mother is my momma's best friend from high school. We've been through everything and I couldn't imagine not being a part of his biggest and special day :) I had the honor of coordinating their reception. I think I was asked more because I'm a bossy bitch but nevertheless I was honored all the same :) The venue was a rec. center with a stage and a big auditorium. It had to be huge, we had over 300 guests. I show to the venue after the long Mass at St. Edwards just to make sure all of the vendors were in line and the table settings, dance floor, etc. were in tip top shape. Biggest crush on the DJ by the way:) but I'll get to that later... 3 hours between ceremony and reception left plenty of time for the vendors to set up.. or one would think.. the tables weren't lined up right so I had to do some relocating.. The linens were not on all of the tables and chairs and by the time it hit 2:30- 3pm (mind u I'm expecting the guests to start arriving at 330) There were no glasses or silver on the table as they should have been. So I had to get my hands dirty and help the help!! Thank goodness my sisters were there to help me.. I couldn't imagine the bride and groom showing up with nothing done. After everything and a bit of sweat, the tables were set, food was assembled, champagne was coming and guests were arriving. It was a success!!! The bride looked amazing and my good friend was a handsome groom!! The DJ was awesome.. he helped so much with the coordination of all of the formalities, Father daughter dance, Mother Son dance, bouquet toss, Group photo... everything and the music was awesome.. We exchanged #s at the end of the night!! lol.. couldn't help myself :) Needless to say, I got $200 for the night!! It was fun and something I may look into as far as party planning and wedding coordinating.. I know a lot of vendors for inexpensive costs and great work :)
