Liar, Liar...

Pants on fire!!! I can't understand a liar.. with even the simple of things! I met someone recently who has never met, but has now fell in love with my BFF :) Now this kid lied from the gate, but I still haven't called him out. LOL..

Lie #1: when asked how old I was he then told me his age being a year older than me. Dumb, Dumb.. I saw your DL and you're only four years older than my youngest sister :) Whom I am 9 years years older than!! LOL 

Lie #2: Day 1, I was locked up for 2 years in Prison (what a catch!!) Day 5, "you know cuz I was locked up for 4 years in Prison" LMAO

Lie #3: married or not married?? single men don't wear wedding bands on their ring finger. JUST SAYING

LIE #4: THE WHOPPER OF ALL LIES- him: "oh I went to go see ur friend at the bar", me:  "oh yeah when?", him: "Saturday", me: "oh cool, I picked her up on Saturday", him: "yeah she was cool, nice and friendly, looks different (better) than her pictures", me: "oh yeah, cool, what time did u guys go in?", him: "around 8pm".......URRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!! Moron, I just told you I picked her up and she got out at 7!!!! I couldn't find the strength to call him out.. there were too many others around :)

I'm not one to be easily impressed, I'm proud of my accomplishments and dig people on geniune personalities, lie once, white lie no prob., lie twice for lame reasons can't believe anything you say anymore! REAL is REAL.. plus Prison is not a winning mark on your resume buddy!!! Even for a friend!! LMAO. Had to share, hope you all get as big of a laugh out of this as I did!!

Sixteen Candles...

So this weekend we celebrated the 25th bday of my sister Felicia whom I call Skeezer (not in the slutty sense of the word, for those who wondered.. my family used to sing to her "Skeezer Weezer was a bear, skeezer weezer had no hair, Skeezer Weezer, Weezer Skeezer" and Skeezer stuck :) ) Anywho.. the invite list was small, cuz let's face it.. she has no friends!! LOL.. Mom of two, 30 minutes away from people she grew up with up, kind of adds conflict to the friend keeping and making. With that said, a few of our older cousins, my parents, a couple of my friends and her childhood bestfriend and sister joined us at Lake Alice Saturday night. The bar had the most entertaining 80's cover band ever!!!! It was a fun night, minus the slight bit of dramatics. "Men" (almost) who can't hold their liquor and decide to say something ridiculous to the bday girl who can definitely hold her own!! LOL Love my sister.  All in all it was a great night :)

Valentine's Day...

So I'm not a stranger to the whole "LOVE" thing.... and I'll still celebrate the day without a boo and never in the "she-woman manhaters" form!! lol  Relationships are just not for me, and I've come to that conclusion whole-heartedly. Maybe I'm in that mindset of  "30 is the new 20" and "40 is the babyboom".. but I just can't seem to get myself in the "crushing" spirit. Don't get me wrong, I've met people, I meet guys all the time, and I have a serious problem with giving my number out.. hence the reason I change my number once every two months :) At least I'm getting out there, but I'm finding any and every reason to dismiss them afterwards. Minus the stage five clingers and the guy who wore man-uggs, I've met some pretty decent guys. I think I just like my alone time and not to "what chili wants" it again, but I may have a check off list longer than hers. LOL It's not unpractical tho.. (don't judge me.. lol)

A job, no kids, family oriented (but not still stuck at home) with great family values, mature, funny, with a great smile, ENGLISH SPEAKING PREFERED!!lol..

I'm far from shallow and definitely don't have a "type" if you knew my exes you would understand, they are complete polar opposites!! I'm big on friends first..

AGAIN, who am I kidding, even if I met prince charming with all of my prerequisites, I'd still find a reason to dismiss and keep him as just a friend. I love my life, I love my time, my rules, my family, my friends and that's enough. Maybe my Danny Zucko will find me. For now, you'll find me in the back of the Bombay Indian Restaurant with a Heart-Shaped Pinata filled with Valentine's chocolates :) waiting on my single girlfriends to show up with a Valentine's Day sob story!! Or maybe I'll just GO SHOE SHOPPING!! <3

Ghost World....

My blog days have slowly diminished.. but I'll try to keep up :) With the new job and my early bedtime, I  haven't really "computered" it up. I think the idea of being in front of a computer all morning and afternoon, stops me from sitting in front of one later in the day :)

I have been keeping myself busy in all of the positive of ways. :) I cancelled some party time and made it a purpose to spend more family time and fun travel time, even if it's just local SoCal travel. Went to Disneyland yesterday, with a good friend and my lil sister.. I love DLAND and am not too much of a football fan, so missing superbowl wasn't a bummer for me. Although hearing about Christina Aguilera messing up the lyrics of the National Anthem proved to be a disappointment. I feel so bad for her.

This weekend coming.. I want to do a train trip to the coast.. or Old Town SD..  so hopefully that works out for me. Then the weekend to follow.. is my sister's 25th.. so a celebration is necessary.. just glad I got her gift taken care of already :) Stagecoach 2011 here we come!!!
